Stratford Public School is a small school which focuses on every student achieving his or her full potential. All six key learning areas are taught with an emphasis on literacy and numeracy. One positive aspect is that the school has two multi-grade classes. Remedial and extension work is provided for all students. Student's individual differences are catered for in all six key learning areas. Another positive aspect is that the students and staff combine with other small schools for sporting, cultural and literature based activities. A feature of the school is a Parents as Tutors Program supervised by the support teacher, which helps foster a spirit of co-operation between the students, the school, the parents and the community.
